ELECTRA – Energy Spirit

I was excited about this painting at the start, recognizing that I had a plan, a good idea. It was taking a path that seemed somewhat urgent and definitely directed. I began feeling uncomfortable and kept turning away from the easel. I took a break, left the room, and experienced a reboot through deep breathing, tea break at our local ‘Better Living Through Coffee’, and some refreshing Walking Mindfulness Meditation.

Upon returning to the studio, I went right to the painting, and brushed out what had been there, ‘dancing’ with the brush. It was then that the magic appeared, in the form of Electra.

Within moments, she was dancing over the waves. I sprinkled her with gold dust, and the painting was complete. Later, the portal appeared…

Looking at her, I feel the tingling sparkle that is the defining thrill of Flow Energy Art.
